1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser for a website. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They can remember state or preferences across requests. Native app storage and device identifiers work differently and are also described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Why TrustCall Uses Cookies
Cookies may support secure sessions, request protection and preferences on applicable TrustCall web features. These legal pages do not add browser analytics, advertising scripts or a tracking consent banner because they do not introduce non-essential trackers.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Django's authenticated web/admin features use session and CSRF protections where needed; cookie names normally include sessionid and csrftoken unless configured differently. These support authentication and request security, not advertising. Their presence and duration depend on the feature and server configuration. Reading a public legal page does not require sign-in.
4. Functional Cookies
Where implemented, functional storage can remember optional settings. Classify and disclose a feature according to its actual purpose; a preference is not automatically exempt from applicable consent requirements. These legal pages use your browser's system color preference without saving a separate preference cookie.
5. Analytics Cookies
These legal pages do not load a browser analytics provider. If optional analytics cookies are introduced on another TrustCall property, that property should identify their purposes and applicable choices before using them. Diagnostic error reporting is described separately in the Privacy Policy.
6. Marketing Cookies
No advertising or marketing-cookie scripts are added to these legal pages. If such technologies are used on another property, their use must be disclosed and made subject to consent or other applicable choices where required. This Policy does not assert that an unverified advertising provider is in use.
7. Third-Party Cookies
External payment, sign-in or other websites you choose to open may apply their own cookies and policies. Review those providers' notices. TrustCall must not use a third-party embed to bypass consent requirements that apply to its own pages.
8. Cookie Preferences
Where a website offers a consent/preferences control, use it to manage non-essential categories and withdraw consent. These pages currently have no optional browser trackers to toggle. For questions about another TrustCall page or feature, contact [Privacy Email] with its URL.
9. Browser Controls
Your browser can block or delete cookies and site storage. Controls differ by browser; consult its settings. Blocking necessary session or security cookies may prevent sign-in or disrupt protected features. Clearing browser storage does not delete your service account or server-side records.
10. Cookie Consent
Non-essential cookies and similar technologies should only be used after obtaining consent where applicable law requires it. Consent should be withdrawable through the relevant controls. Necessary-cookie exemptions and other obligations depend on the jurisdiction and the technology's actual purpose.
11. Changes to Cookie Policy
We may update this Policy when the technologies or purposes change. Additional notice and consent will be provided where required. Check the last-updated date and the notice on the particular TrustCall property you use.
